CSC 254: Programming Language Design & Implementation

Design and implementation of programming languages, with an emphasis on imperative languages and implementation tradeoffs. Topics include fundamental language concepts (names, values, types, abstraction, control flow), compilation and interpretation (syntactic and semantic analysis, code generation and optimization), and major language paradigms (imperative, object-oriented, functional, logic-based, concurrent).

CSC 282: Design & Analysis of Efficient Algorithms

How does one design programs and ascertain their efficiency? Topics include greedy algorithms, dynamic programming, divide-and-conquer techniques, string processing, graph algorithms, and mathematical algorithms. Introduction to NP-completeness and linear programming.

CSC 280: Computer Models & Limitations

This course studies fundamental computer models and their computational limitations. After a quick review of finite-state machines, topics include the pumping lemma, context-free languages, Turing machines, undecidability, time complexity, space complexity, and randomized computation.

MATH 282: Intro to Complex Analysis

Introduction to complex analysis covering the algebra and geometry of complex numbers, analytic functions, Cauchy-Riemann equations, contour integration, Cauchy's theorem and integral formula, Taylor and Laurent series, singularities, the residue theorem, and applications to improper integrals.

CSC 299W: Social Implications of Computing

Computers and the Internet have transformed society over the past 50 years, bringing dramatic increases in productivity and communication alongside unprecedented threats to privacy, new forms of crime, and large-scale systemic risks. In this discussion- and writing-oriented class, students examine the social, legal, and ethical dimensions of computing technology.

Writing across affect theory, psychogeography, negative aesthetics, and phenomenology of the body, tracing how sensation, space, and form encode the conditions of contemporary existence.

Clothing

I've always admired the clothing from brands like Comme des Garçons, Alexander McQueen, Yohji Yamamoto, Prada, Our Legacy, and Ann Demeulemeester, but they're out of my price range. Most of what I own is fast fashion or mainstream brands — primarily Uniqlo and Zara.
